PEI Analytical Laboratories (PEIAL)
PEI Analytical Laboratories is currently operating on Winter hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The last day for receiving plant diagnostic samples for the 2024 season is Friday, October 25th. Samples may be dropped off directly to the lab, or at a PEI Access site outside of Charlottetown. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or inquiries at 902-620-3300
PEI Analytical Laboratories (PEIAL) provides chemical and microbiological analysis for water, soil, dairy, animal feed, seed, plant tissue, manure, and compost samples, and disease identification service for crops.
The lab is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) to the international standard for the general requirements for competence of testing and calibration laboratories, ISO/IEC 17025:2017. A copy of PEIAL’s Scope of Accreditation may found on the Standards Council of Canada website.
Where can samples be submitted?
Samples may be submitted at the lab or via any of the Access PEI locations outside of the Charlottetown area. Please check with the Access PEI site in your area for courier pickup days and times.
