The ENERGY STAR® symbol is a consumer icon in the Canadian marketplace. It instantly identifies products that have qualified as high efficiency.
ENERGY STAR® Canada is a voluntary partnership between the Government of Canada and industry to make high efficiency products readily available and visible to Canadians. Natural Resources Canada formally enrolls manufacturers, retailers and other organizations as participants.
Participants help promote ENERGY STAR® and ensure ENERGY STAR® certified products are prominent and readily available in the marketplace and to Canadian consumers. efficiencyPEI is a participant in the ENERGY STAR® program.
Because efficiencyPEI is an ENERGY STAR® partner, we promote and advocate for the use of ENERGY STAR® products and appliances. In fact many of our rebates require the use of ENERGY STAR® quality products.
As a result of our ongoing commitment to reducing energy consumption, efficiencyPEI is proud of the recognition we have received from Energy Star Canada for three years in a row.

How do I know if my equipment qualifies?
ENERGY STAR® has two databases listing all eligible equipment and models. Search for your equipment by following the links below.
Savings on appliances
Instant Savings is promoted year round on designated appliances and on various other products and specialty items during the spring and fall.
Lighting
efficiencyPEI is also a member of DesignLight Consortium.
