The official website of the Government of Prince Edward Island Government (princeedwardisland.ca) is the primary online platform for connecting citizens and business to information, services, and activities. The Government of PEI is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.  

We are making every effort to make our new website accessible and easy to use by following the available standards and guidelines. 

Website standards

Most Government departments and organizations will be required to make their internet websites and web content conform to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ("WCAG"). 

All new web pages published on princeedwardisland.ca should conform to WCAG 2.0 Level A (subject to some limited exceptions) to the greatest extent possible.
