Cards will have your first and last name as they appear on your health card.
When will I be eligible for dental services?
It may take three to four weeks for you to receive your eligibility card. Dental appointments should only be scheduled after you have received your card and been notified of your eligibility and coverage details.
Your card will be mailed to the address associated with your PEI Health Card. To avoid delays in receiving your card please ensure your address is updated with Medicare (PEI Health Card). To update your mailing address with Medicare please call 1-800-321-5492.
Should you require dental services prior to receiving your card, notify your dental office that you have applied for the program and contact the Provincial Dental Care Program office to determine if your application has been processed.
The Provincial Dental Care Program will not reimburse you for services received before your eligibility has been determined.
If you have applied and are not eligible based on income thresholds you will be notified by mail.
