Western Hospital
Western Hospital is a 25-bed (23 medical and two palliative) community hospital in Alberton that provides emergency, inpatient, ambulatory and palliative care services.

Emergency care
Hours may fluctuate depending on staff availability. Please consult the Emergency Department Wait Times: Western Hospital page for current hours of operation.

Medical services
Western Hospital provides laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dialysis and nutrition counseling.
Visiting consultants offer clinics in geriatrics and HPV screening.
Visiting hours
Family/partners in care can visit patients at any time as decided by the patient and in coordination with the health care team. The Western Hospital Foundation and Western Hospital Auxiliary are groups of community volunteers who fundraise, collect and utilize funds to benefit the health of residents in Western Prince Edward Island.
