Driver's License: Exam Appointments
Book appointments for driver’s license written exams and driving road tests at an Access PEI location.
Driver’s license photos must be taken at Access PEI, regardless of the license class or where testing is administered.
A vision test is done after you successfully complete your Class 7 written exam and before your Class 7 instruction permit is issued.
Walk-in vision exams are avaiiable if required, ie for a medical or if you wrote your exam with a driving school.
Instruction Driver’s Permit (Class 7):
- This is also known as a beginner’s driver’s license.
- Book your written exam through Access PEI.
- After passing this exam, take the Novice Driver’s Program by enrolling at Access PEI.
- You must pass the Novice Driver’s Program before taking the road driving test for the regular full license (Class 5).
