About us

The Executive Council Office is a department of provincial government responsible for supporting the Premier and Executive Council, also known as Cabinet. The Executive Council Office provides administrative services for Executive Council and the Cabinet Committee on Policy and Priorities. Some of the priorities are to:

  • ensure that the Province's interests are represented in international, national and regional discussions;
  • support the Minister Responsible for Indigenous Relations;
  • provide strategic communications planning and departmental communications across government; and
  • administer Engage PEI, a program providing for public application and appointment to various agencies, boards and commissions of the provincial government.
