Apply for the Seasonal Jobs Registry

Islanders interested in short-term, seasonal employment with the Province of Prince Edward Island or community organizations can apply for seasonal jobs through an online application process. When seasonal jobs become available throughout the year, applications from the seasonal job database will be reviewed to identify qualified candidates for next steps in the hiring process. 

Jobs in forestry, highway maintenance, park maintenance, golf operations, and general labour are among the possibilities available for seasonal employment.

If you wish to be considered for seasonal employment, complete the online application form below. You also have the option to apply for seasonal employment through a paper application available at all Access PEI sites.

What information do I need to provide on the online form?

It is important to provide detailed information regarding your education, certifications, interests and employment history to ensure you are screened for jobs that match your qualifications. 

You will be required to provide:

  • Personal identification and contact details
  • Citizenship and language information
  • Specific workplace or task considerations, such as:
    • Special accommodation for a disability
    • Access to transportation/driver’s license 
    • Physical ability/limitations, such as lifting heavy weight 
    • Heavy equipment operator certification
  • Highest level of education completed
  • Licensing and certification information
  • Areas of work Interest 
  • Work/volunteer experience and/or upload a resume

When an opportunity becomes available, if you qualify for the next steps in the hiring process you will be contacted directly by the government department or community organization.
