Newton Bridge replacement to begin November 21
Replacement of the Newton Bridge on Route 111 in Freetown will begin Thursday, November 21 and is expected to be completed by March 15, 2025.
All traffic will be detoured for the duration of the project.
The replacement of the bridge is due to the end of the structure’s service life.
