Road work in Freetown

Construction starts Monday, July 15, to replace culverts and asphalt on a section of Route 8, Freetown Road.

Work begins near the intersection of Route 8 and Route 109, Kelvin Road, and continues east for about 2.5 kilometres.

Delays can be expected over the next two weeks.

Drivers are asked to slow down, be prepared to stop, obey signs and traffic control personnel. Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect during construction hours.
