Rusticoville Bridge Replacement

The Rusticoville Bridge replacement will start Monday 24, April.

Two lane traffic will be maintained for all traffic on Route 6 during construction of a temporary bridge adjacent to the existing bridge.
The temporary bridge (2 lanes, I each direction) will have a width restriction of 3.2m per lane, and will also have a separate lane for pedestrians, cyclists, etc.

Motorists are advised to use caution entering and driving through the site. For the south approach area of the bridge, neither vehicle and/or trailer parking, nor water access, will be permitted.

The temporary bridge is expected to open to all traffic at the end of August 2023. The new bridge is expected to open to all traffic at the end of June 2024.
