Emergency departments provide care to those who are the most sick or have critical, life-threatening health conditions first. For more information, see Emergency Department Wait Times. The estimated emergency department wait times are approximate and are intended for information purposes only (see disclaimer below).
Note: The below total number of patients in the emergency department includes individuals assessed as critical (level 1), as well as patients who have been seen by a physician and are awaiting transfer to an inpatient nursing unit.
Emergency department hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
