PEI Liquor Control Commission relocates Montague retail store
The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) has relocated its Montague retail outlet to 509 Main Street, adjacent to the Superstore. The new store is now situated in a more visible central location with greater access to parking and a barrier free accessible entrance.
“The relocated Montague liquor store was planned with improved customer experience, better access to a larger selection of products and energy efficient systems design to reduce the carbon footprint of the PEILCC” said Finance Minister Allen Roach, minister responsible for the PEI Liquor Control Commission.
“This includes new modern displays, a large BUY PEI section designated to feature local producers of beer, wine and spirits and expanded refrigerated space which enables the store to offer a greater selection of chilled beverages.“
The new store’s increased square footage makes it possible to increase product selection by approximately 20 per cent and showcase new sampling stations. With this relocation the PEILCC expects an increase in service while ensuring that beverage alcohol is sold in a socially responsible manner.
