Petroleum pricing July 15, 2017

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017:

  • gasoline prices will increase by 2.0 cents per litre (cpl); and
  • there will be no change in the price of diesel, furnace oil, stove oil or propane at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 103.5 cpl to 104.7 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will continue to range from 70.3 cpl to 71.0 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to amount to 69.4 cpl, plus tax.

Increases in the wholesale price of gasoline over the past two weeks now necessitate the price adjustment announced today.

The commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on August 1, 2017.
