New Foundations - Report of the Commission on Land and Local Governance

The Commission on Land and Local Governance was appointed by the provincial government to inquire into land use and local governance issues, and to recommend new approaches where warranted. This Commission began its work by reviewing past research, consultations, analyses, and proposed alternatives to the status quo. It has been very useful to trace the path taken over the past approximately forty years to try to understand how the Island community – and how successive governments – have responded to the challenge of change.
