Watershed Flood Projections Reports

A Watershed Flood Projections Report provides detailed information on the projected flood water levels for the watershed in which a property or site is located. These reports are intended for planning and design professionals who want to reduce risk and to adapt new developments according to minimum design standards.

A Watershed Flood Projections Report is available for each of the 286 coastal watersheds on PEI. For a property that overlaps more than one watershed, a report for each watershed should be reviewed to accurately reflect the flood hazard associated with the property (or site).

You can find out the watershed a property is located in by using the Coastal Hazard Information Platform (CHIP). The watershed ID (WS_#) is labelled on the map.

Use the fields below to search for the report by entering the watershed ID, or you can search by the watershed or community name.

For questions about the reports, contact the Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action or email coastalproperty@gov.pe.ca.
