Coastal Hazards Information Platform (CHIP)

The PEI Coastal Hazards Information Platform (CHIP) is an interactive map that you can browse to visualize the coastal hazards that affect PEI’s communities and properties. The map allows users to explore what areas are at risk of coastal flooding caused by combinations of sea level rise, tides, and storm surge over time.  The map also provides information about how the coastline has changed over the past 50 years due to erosion.

For the best experience, please ensure you have the latest version of your web browser.

Limitation of Liability: Government, its agents, representatives, and employees shall not be liable for any claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, actions, suits or proceedings of every nature and kind, whatsoever, arising out of or resulting from any reliance on the Coastal Hazards Information Platform.
