CLIMAtlantic
CLIMAtlantic is a regional climate services organization that helps individuals and organizations to find and use locally relevant climate information. CLIMAtlantic is an affiliate of the Canadian Centre for Climate Services.
CLIMAtlantic can help you better understand current climate vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities by:
- Simplifying both historical and future climate data and projections (i.e. what we expect the climate to be like in the future);
- Providing guidance to help apply climate insights towards effective adaptation solutions; and
- Connecting you with climate experts and collaborators.
CLIMAtlantic is user-driven, focusing on the diverse needs of Indigenous communities, academia, provincial governments, municipalities, local service districts, nonprofits, industry, and others.

The Climate Atlas of Canada combines climate science, mapping, and storytelling to bring the global issue of climate change closer to home for Canadians. It is designed to inspire local, regional, and national action that will let us move from risk to resilience.

The Canadian Climate Institute
The Canadian Climate Institute brings together experts from diverse disciplines to undertake rigorous research, conduct insightful analysis, and engage a range of stakeholders and rightsholders to bring clarity to the climate challenges and transformative policy choices ahead for Canada.
University of Prince Edward Island, School of Climate Change and Adaptation
Housed within the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation, the UPEI School of Climate Change and Adaptation offers students and researchers the unique experience of learning climate science in the St. Peter’s Bay area of Prince Edward Island. The school offers the Bachelor of Science in Applied Climate Change and Adaptation, with an innovative design and delivery structure.
Researchers at the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation collect and share data on weather and climate and host a storm surge early warning system.
