Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination
The best way to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 and the flu is to get vaccinated each year. It is safe to get the flu shot and the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time.
Where to get your flu and COVID-19 shot
Starting October 15, 2024, Health PEI Public Health Nursing will offer Community Flu Vaccination Clinics at locations across the province. Vaccine will also be available through your family physician or nurse practitioner and at pharmacies across the province.
FluMist® (nasal spray) is available only at the Public Health Nursing Community Flu Vaccination Clinics.
If you are 65 years of age or older, you can receive the influenza High-Dose Vaccine, available at Public Health Nursing Community Flu Vaccination Clinics and community pharmacies.
Cost
COVID-19 and flu vaccine are free to all individuals living in Prince Edward Island. You must bring your PEI Health Card with you to the clinic.
