Provincial Youth Cyberviolence Prevention Strategy
The Government of PEI is leading the development of a Provincial Youth Cyberviolence Prevention Strategy. In the digital age, the prevalence and risk of cyberbullying among youth in Prince Edward Island is a serious concern. It is important that the government and its agencies and the community develop a shared understanding of how best to promote a safer online environment, and to equip youth with tools to protect themselves from the occurrence of, and lasting effects of, cyberbullying and cyberviolence.

Parent, Guardian, and Care Provider Cyberbullying Survey
We want to hear from you!
As part of the strategy development, a survey has been launched to determine the impact and prevalence of cyberbullying among youth in PEI. Eligible respondents include:
- Parents and guardians of children and youth up to age 24 on PEI (including foster parents); and
- People who provide care, work with, or volunteer with children and youth up to age 24 on PEI such as relatives, teachers, counsellors, health professionals, child and youth care workers, sports coaches, youth recreation leaders, and others.
How do I participate?
The Government of PEI is welcoming residents to give their feedback on the state of peer-to-peer cyberbullying on Prince Edward Island. To participate in the survey, visit https://gov.questionpro.ca/t/AB3uqq5ZB3u3jn.
The anonymous survey is available in both English and French.
