CCBF - Direct Allocation Fund Disbursements

Over half (53%) of the Canada Community-Building Fund is disbursed through the Direct Allocation Fund to incorporated municipalities that supply centralized water and/or sewer services. Funds are allocated based on population for the eight largest PEI municipalities and as a base amount $100,000 per annum for 16 PEI municipalities with smaller populations.

*CCBF allocations are calculated over five-year intervals to allow for adjustments to be made according to new population census figures that become available.
