Islanders join government boards through Engage PEI

More than two-dozen Islanders got involved with their provincial government in February through Engage PEI.
 
The 27 Islanders were appointed or reappointed to 10 government agencies, boards, or commissions. Engage PEI helps Islanders apply to volunteer on more than 70 such boards.
 
“I am continually impressed at the diverse number of Islanders who are willing to step forward to represent their fellow citizens,” Premier Wade MacLauchlan said. “They make our province mighty by demonstrating how Islanders roll up their sleeves and work together to make big things happen.”
