Red Tape Challenge – We want to hear from Island Business’

Do you find regulations, forms or permits overly complex, outdated or redundant? The Government of Prince Edward Island wants to know what opportunities exist to reduce red tape items that cost business time and money. 

The Red Tape Challenge is an opportunity for you to provide feedback to Government with the goal of making it easier to do business with Government. We’d like to ask for your help on how we can cut red tape to serve you better!

What is Red Tape?

Red Tape refers to the excessive burden imposed by regulations and processes which have the potential to impact the cost of doing business. These challenges can make it difficult for businesses to comply with requirements or access programs and services.
