Innovation Î.-P.-É. travaille à la promotion du développement économique à l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard en misant sur les personnes, l’innovation et l’infrastructure.
Innovation Î.‑P.‑É. cible les secteurs clés qui démontrent un grand potentiel dans la province.
Ces secteurs comprennent :
- La fabrication et le traitement de pointe (y compris la création et la production de produits alimentaires à valeur ajoutée);
- L’aérospatiale et la défense;
- Les sciences biologiques (notamment dans le domaine de l’agriculture et des pêches);
- Les technologies de l’information et des communications;
- Les services financiers;
- L’énergie renouvelable.
Innovation Î.‑P.‑É. s’efforce de soutenir le développement rapide de ces secteurs et d’autres secteurs afin de promouvoir l’économie provinciale à l’aide de nouveaux produits et services novateurs.
Son but est de bâtir une province forte en aidant les entreprises à créer des possibilités d’emplois durables. Pour atteindre ses objectifs, l’organisme offre du soutien financier et des services favorisant :

- L’investissement;
