The Black Women’s History Project, a grade eight social studies curriculum resource focusing on Black women's history in PEI. The project, led by Debbie Langston, Diversity Consultant, was created in collaboration with the Black Cultural Society of PEI, descendants of Black Islanders, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women, the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat, and the Social Studies and innovation leader with Department of Education and Early Years.
