Climate Change Capacity Building (ClimateSense)

What is ClimateSense?

ClimateSense is a partnership between the Province of PEI, the University of Prince Edward Island, and Natural Resources Canada designed to build regional adaptation capacity and expertise in Prince Edward Island.

The ClimateSense Training and Professional Development Program consists of a series of short (0.5 to 2 days) climate-related training opportunities for local professionals and practitioners, including engineers, architects, land use planners, health care providers, emergency management officials, conservationists/naturalists, watershed groups, builders and property developers, and academia.

The ClimateSense Professional Internship Program seeks to build adaptation capacity in recent post-secondary graduates, as well as host organizations within the public and private sectors on PEI.
