Re-Apply to the Ostomy Supplies Program
If you are currently receiving coverage through the Ostomy Supplies Program you can re-apply online to continue to receive benefits.
Am I eligible to continue receiving coverage?
If you have received benefits through this program in the past 12 months, you can re-apply to continue receiving benefits if you:
- are a permanent PEI resident as defined by the Drug Cost Assistance Act;
- have a PEI Health Card; and
- have filed your most recent income tax return in PEI.
When do I need to re-apply?
Eligibility continues until June 30 each year. To avoid interruption in coverage, you must re-apply each year before your eligibility expires.
What if I have private insurance?
You must submit all receipts to your private insurance first. You can then submit the remaining out-of-pocket expense to the Ostomy Supplies Program for assessment.
What do I need to re-apply?
You will need to provide your 8-digit PEI Health Card number and your Social Insurance Number (SIN). You will also need to provide this information for your spouse.
