Anyone who dispenses a liquefied petroleum gas must hold a valid LP Gas Dispenser Operator License.
How do I obtain a LP Gas Dispenser Operator License?
You must complete an application and forward it, together with the applicable fee, to the department.
Are there additional requirements to obtain a LP Gas Dispenser Operator License?
Yes. You must have successfully completed a 100-1 training program, as offered by the Propane Training Institute. Contact department staff for additional detail.
What is the cost?
The cost for a LP Gas Dispenser Operator License is $40 per year to a maximum of $80. There is no HST. Make cheques payable to the Minister of Finance.
For how long is a LP Gas Dispense Operator License valid?
Licenses are valid for a maximum of two years. ALL licenses expire on December 31st.
How long will it take to obtain a LP Gas Dispenser Operator License?
After you have completed the necessary training, allow one week to process your application.
