The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) can use this form to submit financial information to the Minister on behalf of the municipality.
What financial information must be submitted?
Municipalities are required by the Municipal Government Act and regulations to submit their:
Financial plan (BY APRIL 15), which includes:
- an operating budget
- a capital budget
- a 5-year capital expenditure program
- an asset management plan
Financial reports (BY OCTOBER 15)
- Audited financial statements
- Annual Municipal Information Return (AMIR)
Be advised that once reviewed by Municipal Affairs, these documents will be available to members of the public through this website.
